Our Fostering Services

Our family placement team specialises in providing services which cater specifically for the individual needs of the young person. We successfully match children with various needs, from emotional and behavioural to mother and baby placements.

Our fostering teams have been resolute in establishing and maintaining only carefully selected placements. Our organisational aim is to reduce the number of moves that a child has to make, as we believe that this is a crucial factor to their well being. Subsequently, we have managed to further develop short and medium term arrangements into permanent and adoptive placements.

Our provision can be tailored to include all or some of the following services, in order to support the child or young person throughout their period with Progress, within a cost effective package:

• Individual education support for children out of school;
• Psychological assessment / intervention;
• Emotional & behaviour management;
• Health care support & health education;
• Access to our brand new development, Progress Outdoor & Education Centre, which is currently being developed as an education and recreational resource exclusively available to looked after children within Progress Children's Services.

Our fostering service is well regulated and inspected by CSCI and is consistently meeting National Minimum Standards.
