Residential Services

Progress has established an excellent reputation in providing specialist residential provision for children and young people with learning disabilities.

We provide a therapeutic approach for children providing support for autism, sensory and communication, severe disability & learning needs. With the support of our local health team, we are able to provide invasive intervention, feeding and medication.

We believe that looked after children should be allowed to live in safe and caring environment, where they can develop themselves and still have the opportunities to enjoy childhood.

Our provision can be tailored to include all or some of the following services, in order to support the child or young person throughout their period with Progress, within a cost effective package:

• 24 hour staff support and supervision;
• One to one education support for children out of school;
• Psychological assessment and / or intervention;
• Emotional and behaviour support management;
• Health care support & health education;
• Access to our brand new development, Progress Outdoor & Education Centre, which is currently being developed as an education and recreational resource exclusively available to looked after children within Progress Children's Services.
